This woman is Abagail Alfano of Pine, Louisiana - she lives in a Hummingbird fly zone and has been studying them daily as they migrated, about 20 of them were in her yard. One morning she put the cup from the feeder, with sugar water in it, in her hand; as they had gotten used to her standing by the feeder they came over to her hand.

The wings on the nearest wee bird are beating so fast, they just look a blur.
This is just amazing! These little birds burn up so much energy, they hover in flight while they [CENSORED] nectar from the flowers literally all day long.
But then when they migrate thousands of miles at amazing heights to their breeding ground, they don’t stop for days en route to feed.
Abagail also said, 'if she had known her husband was taking pictures she would have put on makeup.'
